The official results of the Diba IoT Contest 2016 were announced this week in the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the international summit of discussion about the link between urban reality and technological revolution.
The goal of the Diba IoT Contest 2016, the first year of the contest, was to promote the creation of applications of public interest through the internet of things (IoT) using SENTILO, a platform that enables information generated by sensors distributed around cities to be gathered, used and disseminated.
Although our project is a public service for cities of taxis location and booking in real time, the aim is to provide all kinds of informations to the citizen, like which are the mobility adapted paths or where are the cleanest toilets around the user.
